DSLR Camera Class

Instruction is geared towards portrait photography.  This is a beginners class on using a DSLR camera in manual mode.  Advanced techniques are not covered.  Landscape and HDR photography is not covered.

Class is brand specific, but Canon and Nikon cameras are the most popular types that are brought to my classes.

*How do I know if I have a DSLR camera?

One way to tell is if you have a 'manual mode' and you can remove your camera's lens.  If you are not sure, a quick Google search will help you determine if your camera is a DSLR.

Many of the diagrams and examples use a Canon camera for examples but the concepts apply to all DSLR cameras.  If you have another camera model, you will still benefit from this guide.

***The guide is written exactly how I use my camera everyday for taking professional images and how I understand using my camera in manual mode.   Other photographer/teachers may teach different methods. The guide does not cover landscape photography, off camera flashes, HDR photography or studio lighting.***
